During the consultation, my gynaecologist was clear: my dream of becoming a mother could become very complicated.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s when this difficult journey began for my husband and me.<\/p>\n
Trying\u2026 again and again. We started treatments through the National Health Service.<\/p>\n
But the result was always the same: negative. We then decided to look for other options.<\/p>\n

We didn\u2019t hesitate to book an initial consultation. The start of a new chapter.<\/p>\n
From the very first moment, the treatment was warm and very human.<\/p>\n
We went for a consultation with Dr S\u00e1nchez<\/strong>, who was honest and sincere with us: the recommended treatment was in vitro fertilisation (IVF).<\/p>\nAnd it was time to start. We trusted him from the very beginning.<\/p>\n
Fear, frustration\u2026 and moving forward It wasn\u2019t an easy time.<\/p>\n

The first embryo transfer was successful\u2026 but ended in a miscarriage.<\/p>\n
Then came two more transfers. Both were unsuccessful.<\/p>\n
By that point, our mental health was really suffering. We felt we couldn\u2019t go on.<\/p>\n
But there was still one chance left. The last chance!<\/p>\n
We had two remaining embryos, all grade C, from the same IVF cycle.<\/p>\n
We knew the odds weren\u2019t great, but we pinned all our hopes on that transfer. And then it happened.<\/p>\n
Ten days later: positive. But it wasn\u2019t one\u2026 it was two.<\/p>\n
The day everything changed When we went for our scan and heard their heartbeats\u2026 it was one of the happiest days of our lives.<\/p>\n
Today, those heartbeats have names. They are two beautiful two-year-old boys, two little \u2018whirlwinds\u2019 who fill every day with joy.<\/p>\n
